Germany - Dresden to Berlin

From Dresden we drove to Berlin and found ourselves a park on one of the back streets not far from the German Parliament building, The Reichstag. This historic building was completed in 1894. After WW11 bombings, West Germany’s parliament was relocated to Bonn and this building remained in ruins until the 1960s. They retained the bullet ridden façade and the graffiti left by the occupying Soviet soldiers as a historical reminder.
